North East 25 Classic 2007
27th and 28th October

The North East 25 (NE25) Classic Car Rally is co-organised by 750 Motor Club (Scotland) and Stonehaven and District Motor Club. This Historic Road Rally will run over two days taking advantage of the 'extra hour' granted by the clock change into daylight saving time. The event will start at Motech, Forfar (MR 54/457 509) and Finish at the Panmure Hotel, Edzell (MR 45/6010 6915)

Competitors are invited to enter the event as a whole – including the Saturday evening Navigational Rally - or Legs 1 & 3 only, comprising special tests & a regularity section.

On Saturday the event will begin in Forfar, after scrutineering and signing-on, competitors will depart using pre-plotted grid references for navigation. Competitors will tackle various tests on sealed and loose surfaces.

Competitors will reassemble in Edzell for refreshments and a chance to relax before lighting up for the optional Hairst navigational road rally (compulsory for overall award). Novice navigation clues will be used to ensure everyone enjoys the experience (samples of clues will be made available before the competition).

On Sunday after breakfast competitors will head out for a morning of special tests at various venues. Following this everybody will return to Edzell for a lunch, results & presentation of awards.

Fuel will be available at various locations near to the rally, details will be provided in the final instructions.
Trailer parking is available for the Friday and/or Saturday night in Edzell area. There are numerous places in the area offering accommodation
